Meet The Heroes At Mall Amphitheatre

AUTOGRAPH hunters can meet the Wollongong Hawks at tonight's "general public launch" at the Crown St Mall amphitheatre.

Hosted by i98 breakfast announcer Erica, the event gets underway at 5pm with festivities throughout the mall before the entire 12-man team is officially introduced at 6pm.

Mascots Tomma and Moe will be on hand for the launch, while the club's new dance team will perform.

"I'm looking forward to seeing as many fans as possible at the launch," Hawks captain Mat Campbell said.

"So far the support leading up to the season is great, and it'll be even better for all season ticket holders and the general public to come and support us and meet the new team on Thursday."

The Hawks play West Sydney in a final pre-season trial tomorrow night at Penrith before tipping off their NBL season against the 36ers in Adelaide tomorrow week.
