THE Hunter Valley Torana Club's Harry Firth Life Celebrations Dinner is shaping up as a great place to have an autograph book handy.

Apart from the great man himself, the guest list resembles a who's who from Australian motorsport in the 1960s and 1970s with three Bathurst 500/1000 winners confirmed along with a number of other famous faces.

Bob Morris, Bruce McPhee and Fred Gibson will be at the Newcastle Jockey Club on September 19 along with current V8 Supercar racer Paul Dumbrell, former motorsport magazine owner and editor Max Stahl, Gibson's wife Christine (nee Cole) and fellow female racer Sandra Bennett, former Holden Dealer Team spannermen Bruce and Ned Nowacki and former race drivers Graham Moore, Jim Hunter and Des West.

Drive understands the Torana Club is also trying to woo the legendary John Harvey and former Holden man John Bagshaw.
